An articulated tandem roller featuring a unique ability for pivotal steering on the rear drum, giving up to 500 mm offset. The CC444CHF is designed for major asphalt compaction jobs on motorways, streets and airfields. Also suitable for use in the compaction of "Roller Compacted Concrete" (RCC) and on gravel for base courses. This machine is equipped with four rubber tyres at the rear instead of a drum. The rubber wheels are driven in pairs by separate propulsion motors, thus minimising the risk of damaging newly laid asphalt compound when making sharp turns. The rubber wheels ensure a denser and smoother surface on the asphalt, afeature that is sometimes required. The CC422CHF has got the high frequency technique for the low amplitude.
